Our History
SDK was founded in 2012 to help clients manage coalitions and complex change, especially when integrating community engagement into new ways of working. We’ve supported healthcare providers and insurers building new models to address social determinants of health. We’ve helped public-sector agencies explore merged and blended service models. And we’ve built bridges between environmental advocates and rural communities around land use and water quality, to name a few.

What began as a sole proprietorship led by Stephanie Devitt in 2012 was reimagined in 2019 as a practice serving public-sector and large cross-sector clients.

Since then, SDK has grown into a management consultancy rooted in Stephanie’s coalition and change management methods. We combine engagement-driven insight, thoughtful data analysis, and crisp communication to help clients move complex work forward.
